Remember the World's Smallest Street Market? Last July? Right here on Johnston's Lane? Well guess what? It's time to start the smallest street market fun again. But this time round we've decided to give it a festive focus. Wrap up warm and bring your festive cheer... and we'll get the hot chocolates in.
Last year we played host to eight market stalls, including Sooz Gordon Designs, Jane Gowans Jewellery, Grouchos, Fraser's Fruit and Veg, and Benjamin Barker within our tiny cobbled street which measures only 64 feet by 12 feet wide (which was incidentally once named the poorest slum in Britain….how very dare they!) We raised £350 amount for The Blake McMillan Trust charity and this year we’d like to do it all over again…..with some glitter sprinkled on the top! This year we’re supporting the same charity plus Dundee Food Bank and will be putting a programme of events together over the next few weeks which already include the West Port Christmas Lights switch on and live music. The date for your diary is Thursday 3rd December. See you then if not before!
We'll post all the details about the event soon.
