7 CITIES, 7 INDEPENDENTS

Last Sunday, Spex Pistols featured in The Herald supplement 'Best of Scotland' alongside 6 brilliant independents from 6 other Scottish cities.

Many independents are celebrating reopening this week having spent much of last year closed, us included. We're so excited to welcome back our customers but also to get back to visiting some of our favourite independents too. We loved reading about Leakey's Bookshop, Gallus Alice, Europa Music, Rosemary Planet, Underneath the Arches and Armstrongs...but we also wanted to share some of our favourite Dundee and Perthshire independents that we think you'd enjoy visiting too!

The Parlour, West Port, Dundee for delicious coffee and veggie food.

Guardswell Farm, Perthshire, for the most stylish accommodation and homegrown fresh produce.

Thirteen Records, Union Street, Dundee for racks packed full of the best music selection.

Manifesto Clothing, Dundee and Perth for men's fashion.

Gallery 48, West Port, Dundee for tapas and art.

Luigi's, Strathmartine Road, Dundee for authentic Italian pizza.

Heather St Food, V&A, Dundee for award winning food outside Dundee's first design museum.

Hayley Scanlan, Perth Road, Dundee for sustainable contemporary womenswear.

We're planning a trip to every single one of these businesses very soon!
